The Role

We are now looking to take our user research to the next level and are recruiting a skilled and dedicated User Researcher to join our newly formed Product Insights team.

The team, which is part of the Product organization, where also our Product Managers sit, is responsible for both qualitative and quantitative aspects of understanding our users and the usage of our products.

What you'll do

As our first User Researcher, you’ll be responsible for making sure that Stravito – and the Product and Design teams particularly – knows and understands the fundamentals of our different user groups, including aspects such as their:

• Needs and motivations
• Responsibilities and deliverables
• Tasks, workflows, and processes – and the problems and friction our users face in their jobs
• Human interfaces and tooling

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and conducting user research both in person and remotely to support our strategic and operational work
• Analyzing and synthesizing findings and actionable insights from such research
• Building and maintaining a library of user insights and descriptions of our different user groups
• Defining and maintaining a meaningful structure for our customer/user feedback platform
• Taking active part in strategic discussions on our product positioning and direction

Though the focus for this position is to aid and support our high level product related strategic and decision making processes, you will also take an active part in the work of the different product teams; from providing guidance and support on research methodologies and usability testing/evaluation, to taking on tasks related to the teams’ initiatives.

Depending on who you are, your skill set, and what direction you want your career to take, you may also take on tasks as part of our Design team from time to time.

What we're looking for

For this role, we are looking for a person with:

• A relevant degree or corresponding theoretical knowledge
• At least 3 years of proven work experience as a user / UX researcher
• The ability to own and lead an area of your own; including establishing and maintaining relevant internal and external relationships
• The ability to articulate and champion best practices – enabling the organization to learn from your expertise
• The ability to create persuasive narratives regarding research learnings
• A strong team player, with exceptional curiosity, and an open and cooperative mindset
